A town or city with a focus brings together people from around the world who share an interest, a characteristic, a passion, and who want to further explore what they are interested in, and who want to share their findings.

Ideas for thriving & inspiring towns
Over the next weeks, each town idea will get their own page with some snippets about the ideas involved. The order of the posts will be random and in connection with the town specials on this and on other easy town websites.

A green dot marks a town with an open page.
The page for Easy Town opened on day 3 of the launch week, and the some towns for town specials will be published on day 4 and 5.
All town ideas are work in progress, and eventually a collection of them will be published in the book 42 towns and counting.

Towns with a focus on discourse, research & learning

More towns
Frequently new town ideas pop up which are not yet included in the first collection and don’t have a graphic yet, but which get a first outing here.

Free Town
An idea to rock the world. Still needs a bit of polishing, and thinking, but it will be online soon(-ish).

Megalomania
I keep thinking everyone should have something like a haven. This is for all megalomaniacs. With a bit of luck, they have so much fun in this town that they leave the rest of the world alone (at least at times).

Comics Town
How did I forget that town in the first collection?

Animals kingdom
Not sure where this might go, but I guess it will be a place full of animal lovers.

Mystery City
It seems like a fun idea but I’m not sure it is fit for purpose.

Sprayers Paradise
Love the idea, but I am concerned about the chemicals.

Goth City
Darkly cheery and with some special challenges when it comes to coexisting with nature.
42 towns and counting
The initial 77 town ideas will be discussed in the collection: 42 towns and counting.
